Our Commitment
Aché Enterprise LLC is committed to making The 100 Black Women Summit and this website accessible to all visitors, including those who use assistive technologies. We believe accessibility is inseparable from the values of inclusion and belonging that define this Summit.
Standards
We aim to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Specific measures include:
- Semantic HTML structure with a logical heading hierarchy.
- Descriptive alternative text on all meaningful images.
- Keyboard navigation throughout — all interactive elements are reachable and operable without a mouse.
- Visible focus indicators on all focusable elements, meeting WCAG 2.1 focus-visible requirements.
- A skip-navigation link at the top of every page for keyboard and screen-reader users.
- Respect for
prefers-reduced-motion— animations are minimized or eliminated for visitors who have indicated this preference. - WCAG-conscious color contrast ratios in text and interactive elements.
- Accessible form labels, error messages associated with the correct fields via
aria-describedby, and explicit required/invalid states. - Cookie and analytics consent controls that are fully keyboard and screen-reader accessible.
Known Limitations
This site is actively developed. Some sections may not yet fully meet all WCAG 2.1 AA criteria. We are committed to addressing issues as they are identified.
[PLACEHOLDER — list any known accessibility gaps here as they are identified during testing.]
Event Accessibility
We are committed to making the in-person Summit experience accessible. Specific accessibility information for the event (mobility, dietary, sensory, and other accommodations) will be collected through a separate secure intake process after registration. That information will never be shared publicly or used for any purpose other than planning your participation.
Feedback and Contact
If you experience accessibility barriers on this site or at our event, or if you have suggestions for improvement, please contact us or email us at hello@100blackwomeninbrazil.com. We aim to respond within five business days.
